He is also executive alumni of IIM Indore, specialized in Global Supply Chain Management. He is DIPR certified Psychological Assessor and has helped numerous aspirants achieve their dream uniform. Services Selection Board (SSB) is an organization that assesses the candidates for becoming officers into the Indian Armed Forces. The board evaluates the suitability of the candidate for becoming an officer over 5 days which constitutes psychology, personality, intelligence tests, and interviews.
The 5-day process at the Services Selection Board (SSB) is a comprehensive evaluation designed to assess candidates' suitability for commission into the Indian Armed Forces.
Day 1 typically involves registration, document verification, and an orientation briefing, where candidates are introduced to the SSB procedures and expectations. After this screening test are conducted, this includes Intelligence tests and picture perception and discussion tests. Those who quallify the screening tests stay for detailed testing over 4 days.
Days 2 focuses on psychological testing, including thematic apperception tests, word association tests, situation reaction tests and self description test. These assessments aim to gauge candidates' personality traits, leadership potential, and psychological responses under pressure.
Day 3 and 4 involves group testing, where candidates participate in various group tasks such as group discussions, group planning exercises, and outdoor tasks like obstacle courses and group tasks aimed at evaluating teamwork, communication skills, decision-making ability, and problem-solving skills.
Personal Interviews are also conducted on between day 2,3 and 4. These interviews delve into candidates' backgrounds, motivations, aspirations, and personal qualities, providing further insights into their suitability for military leadership roles.
Day 5 marks culmination of the 5 days procedure with conference where the individuals suitability is discussed by the board of officers.
Throughout the process, candidates are observed and evaluated on officer-like qualities such as initiative, courage, determination, and ability to work effectively in a team. The 5-day process at SSBs is rigorous and demanding, designed to select individuals who possess the qualities necessary to lead and serve in the Indian Armed Forces.
